The Secret Connection

FAQs

Tickets are PER HOUSEHOLD, not per person. The show is interactive so it is designed to be perfect for one or two people to take part, but we do recommend no more than four people per screen.

If you wanted more than four of you to watch the show, we recommend purchasing an additional ticket, so that you can maximise the interactivity of the show. This will of course mean that they will also need another screen to watch and participate.

We call The Secret Connection an online magical experience rather than a magic show.

We need a connection more than ever right now. Award-winning magician Dr Will Houstoun brings a unique interactive online show into your home.

Each show is broadcast live on Zoom from our purpose-built London studio, with an audience of just 30 screens. You are encouraged to turn down the lights, tuck your phones away and immerse yourself in a high-quality theatrical experience.

The audience is treated to a selection of magic from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.

More information about the show and Dr Will Houstoun can be found on our About The Secret Connection page.

Will Houstoun is a winner of both the European Magic Championships (2006) and The Magic Circle Close-up Magician of the Year 2015. He holds a Literary Fellowship with the Academy of Magical Arts in Los Angeles, a Research Fellowship with the Victoria and Albert Museum Research Institute, and is an Honorary Research Associate in the Department of Surgery and Cancer, Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London. His current research interests lie in exploring the ways in which the skill and approach of the conjurer can be utilised in an educational context.

Fusing his interest in the history of magic and performance Will has written and internationally performed his one-man show Dr Houstoun’s Conjuring, described as: ‘An enticing glimpse through a secret trap door into the often unbelievable history of magic,’ (TVBomb, 2015).

More information about Dr Will can be found on the About page.

We only sell 30 screens per show. This is because we want the show to be truly interactive, and by limiting the number of tickets available, you are able to see something live that only a small number of people will see.

There is no adult content in the show, however the show is designed for adults. We want guests of The Secret Connection to treat this like going to a restaurant for dinner, or going to the theatre.

Under 18s are welcome to the show, but we do request they are accompanied by someone over the age of 18.
